This is a small cozy hotel at Batignolles district of Paris. It is decorated in dark red colors, with some references to the time of 2nd empire (as follows from the name). It does look stylish! Nice combination of wallpaper, furniture and tiles in the bathroom. The location is convenient, the center can be reached by a pleasant walk, but there are many public transport connections as well (i prefer walk or cycle in Paris, it's too beautiful to traverse underground). The windows face the railroad leading to Saint-Lazare station. I particularly enjoyed the view of colorful trains going back and forth in the evening. The breakfast was good, but mostly French style, that is, don't expect scrambled eggs and bacon. On the other hand, it matched the hotel. The coffee for the breakfast was made in a "professional" coffee machine by an employee, so it was way better that the average "automatic" machine that you see in many hotels around. Overall, the stay was pure pleasure, it would be solid 10 if not the point mentioned below.

We had a lovely stay at Maison Eugenie. The location is great..the metro and bus station are right across the street. There are restaurants around the area, the hotel restaurant has good Spanish food! The bed was really big and comfortable and had multiple pillows. I personally book it for the old-fashioned French look and loved it, so if you are looking for modern rooms look elsewhere. I read few comments about noise before booking and was worried, but we didn’t have any issues. Our room was on the side street, but we didn’t hear any noise. Not even from the hallway. The employees were great, we even arrived super early and didn’t expect to get a room but they went above and beyond and got us checked in quicker than expected. The breakfast was alright, I looked forward to the croissant and french baguette each day.

The room was much better than expected. It's perfect for a solo traveller or a couple. My balcony also gave me a great parisian feel. The room was cleaned daily, and everything was done perfectly. The staff are super nice. I forgot my EU plug, and they just provided me one when I arrived. They helped me find my way as well. Their breakfast was also great. Not only taste wise but also the number of options you have too was great. The hotel is right next to 2 metro stations and 2 bus stops. All can take you to landmarks or shopping stores. Overall, it was a great choice, and I will definitely stay here again once I'm back in Paris.

A very good small hotel, not very close to the center but also not too far (and just in front of a metro station, in any case). Very kind and helpful staff. Nice breakfast, definitely better then the standard breakfast of 3* hotels in Paris. Clean and very comfortable overall. The room was quite small, but well furnished including a minibar and a water kettle. I was given the option to choose a bathroom with shower or with bathtub. All these things, again, are definitely not a standard for 3* hotels in Paris. The area is also calm and peaceful, never gave me the impression to be particularly dangerous or risky.

The room was very nice and spacious. We had a king sized bed, which was great also. The internet worked well and the bathroom was large. There is also a small refrigerator under the desk in case you need to keep anything cold. The location is quite good, but Pont Cardinet Metro, which is especially nice if you are arriving from Orly as it is on the Line 14 Metro. The neighborhood is good with groceries and small restaurants around. The hotel has a Spanish restaurant which has a limited menu but everything was good. The staff was all excellent and helpful and I had no issues during the stay.
